Engaging your body in water and on land

with
Roni Leef / Water Clinic / Israel
Ursula Margharita / Yoga Biodynamics / Switzerland/Spain

In this Immersion we are joining lightness, fluidity and strength to refine our body perception and sensing wholness within and throughout our bodies, in motion and in stillness.

The question of how to inhabit a sense of wholeness in our body and how to embrace the natural forces acting within and throughout us, does not come with a simple straight forward answer.

WE OFFER 4 DAYS OF INTERDISCIPLINARY WORKSHOPS WITH YOGA BIODYNAMICS, MOVEMENT PLAY & PARTNER WORK IN WATER AND ON LAND.

THEME & FOCUS OF THE IMMERSION:

GRAVITY, GROUNDING & LIGHTNESS:
How does gravity support our upwards moving forces in standing, walking, balancing, moving and floating? We focus on movement from the ground upwards and we investigate the moving forces, acting through our body from inside out and from outside in. (Intrinsic and extrinsic awareness).

POLARITIES & THE CORE:
Exploring our interrelatedness within and around the pelvic girdle, our centre of gravity where upwards and downwards moving forces meet in the body. Looking at the various joint-connections, especially the division between the 4th and 5th lumber vertebra, the hip joints, the sacrum and the heart connection.

BUOYANCY & THE BREATH:
We take a look at how to create lightness and support for the upper part of our body to breath and move freely. We will explore motion range, connection and space around the breathing process, the shoulders and the neck.

SOMA AWARENESS, INNER & OUTER BODY ZONES: Exploring the cranial-sacral rhythm and focused and unfocused attention in clinical practice and in daily live. How to create a gentle and safe environment for ourselves and others, where recognition and healing can be appreciated and experienced.

FOR WHOM IT IS: These 4 days of interdisciplinary movement exploration in water and on land is designed for therapists, healers, yoga practitioners, movement investigators, dancers and all people who are interested in a sustainable and healthy movement practice which helps to build a deeper connection within the body and with oneself.

All 4 workshops are experiential, explorative and informational, playing with the focus and themes mentioned above.

Each day will be different, depending on the group of the day. You can take each day as an individual module. Though we recommend to join us for at least 2 days as it will give you a chance for a deeper understanding of this particular work and it will build trust in working together with others.
